University Center at McHenry County College

This partnership aims to bring higher education opportunities closer to home for students in McHenry County and surrounding areas. By combining forces and expertise, this collaboration provides students with a dynamic learning environment, enriched by the diverse offerings of both SIU Carbondale and McHenry County College.  Together, both institutions are committed to empowering students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences necessary for success in today's rapidly evolving world.

Industrial Management and Applied Engineering

• Program is offered in a flexible, weekend format.
• Career-oriented, focusing on the management and business aspect of manufacturing.
• Dedicated program advisement, faculty, and staff help at McHenry County College and SIU Carbondale.
• Full access to services available to off-campus SIU Carbondale students.

Accounting

• Scholarship opportunities at SIU and McHenry County College.
• All “Big 4” accounting firms and many top private companies recruit SIU students.
• Full access to all McHenry County College services as well as all services available to off-campus SIU students.
