General Education Mobile
SIU Extended Campus is excited to be a part of General Education Mobile (GEM). The GEM Program is an initiative between the Community College of the Air Force and Space Force (CCAF) and regionally accredited civilian academic institutions to provide Airmen and Guardians CCAF acceptable general education courses. The program links CCAF students to academic institutions that offer online general education courses at the freshman and sophomore levels. These courses are generally 4, 8, or 16 weeks in length and fulfill the 15 semester hours of the CCAF Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree requirements.
Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative
SIU Extended Campus is excited to be a part of Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC).
AU-ABC establishes partnerships between the Air Force and Space Force and civilian institutions to provide Community College of the Air Force and Space Force (CCAF) graduates with advanced education opportunities at the baccalaureate level. This program targets active duty Air Force and Space Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard members. Degree requirements, however, may be completed after students retire or are separated from the Air Force and Space Force. Students will work directly with the AU-ABC school to complete enrollment and degree requirements.
