At SIU Extended Campus, we are dedicated to providing students across the nation with the opportunity to earn a degree from SIU, regardless of their location or life circumstances. We achieve this by offering alternative pathways through off-campus and online programs.

Our journey began in 1973 when SIU started serving students at military bases. Today, we extend our reach to military bases and community colleges across the U.S. and offer dozens of online programs to cater to the growing demand for flexible education options. We take great pride in the achievements of the thousands of graduates who have joined our Alumni family through our distance education pathways. Our students embody the Saluki spirit through their dedication and determination, many of whom are working professionals, veterans, or actively serving in the military while pursuing their degrees.
