SIU Online and Extended Campus is committed to making higher education accessible for as many students as possible. In addition to regular financial aid and scholarship opportunities, we offer scholarship support for eligible students enrolled through off-campus locations.

All scholarships funded by SIU Online and Extended Campus are available through AcademicWorks. Students should complete the general scholarship application each semester to be automatically matched with other scholarship opportunities for which they may qualify. To be considered for the SIU Online and Extended Campus scholarship, students must also complete and submit that specific application.

SIU Online and Extended Campus Scholarship

We are pleased to announce our SIU Online and Extended Campus Scholarships for fall, spring and summer semesters! Each semester, two $250 scholarships will be awarded to students who meet the qualifications below at each of our off-campus locations.

  • Hours currently enrolled must be greater than or equal to 6
  • Gross need must be greater than 0
  • Cumulative GPA must be greater than or equal to 2.0
  • Site must not include Carbondale Campus, Off Campus, Springfield, IL or Web-based distance learning
